Hello, and a late happy new year to you all!
We’re already a month into 2024, and we’re already preparing so many things for what will be a big year for Citizen Sleeper…
Below I’ve got news and updates to help set you up for the months ahead. I hope to be releasing a monthly update like this up until the Summer, as there’s so much going on, so have a look below and see what you can expect…
The Helion Dispatches Will Return…
If you’ve been subscribed for a while, hopefully you’ve been following along with Cyrene Sabir’s travelogue, as she crosses the Helion system along with the other refugees present on the Pilgrim Seed. If you haven’t, all 6 episodes are available to read now, over here.
Cyrene is going dark for a while, as the Pilgrim Seed tries to navigate Conway-controlled space, but she’ll be back for the second half of the season sometime this Summer. As Cyrene would say: to a free Helion. Now and forever.
New Languages available TODAY
As of NOW Citizen Sleeper can be played in French, Japanese and Simplified Chinese on all platforms.
It’s also on discounts of 30%-50% depending on your platform and region. Enjoy!
Design Works / Cycles of the Eye Update
Work is progressing well on both the book and it’s tabletop companion, and I have been play-testing the latter with these WIP tarot cards (exclusively seen here!). There’s a bit of a delay on the project, with a current estimated delivery date now moving into Q2 of this year.
I know it’s a while to wait, I am confident it will be worth it, and the result will be very special indeed. If you’d like to get involved, standard pre-orders are still available here.
The Path to Citizen Sleeper 2
I know you’ve all been waiting for more info on the sequel, and while I can’t give you that today, I can promise that by the end of this year you will be very familiar with what the sequel plans to offer. There’s around a year left of development, and already the sequel is looking bigger and more varied than the original.
I’m really proud of what we’ve been able to do, and I ask you to be patient for a little while longer, as we prepare for our big reveal, and a few small teases between now and then too…
