Hello everyone,
It’s been a while, but all that time I have been slaving away on Citizen Sleeper 2, and the game is closer than ever. Early 2025 is not far away now!
But to tide you over until then:
Citizen Sleeper 2 has a playable demo on steam right now!
This is my first Steam Next Fest, so I’ll be curious to see what we can do to rise above the (literally) thousands of demos on there right now… I’d love to reach some new players who didn’t think they’d be into Citizen Sleeper, so if you have some friends that might like it, please do send the demo their way.
Meanwhile, I’m also happy to report that the base edition of the Citizen Sleeper: Design Works is now shipping! The deluxe is taking a little longer, to get all its extras and gorgeous box sorted out, but if you missed the standalone book you can buy it now and it’ll go straight out.
If you are fast, there might even be a few Deluxe editions left to preorder…
So, lots to enjoy this month, you can actually play the game and read the book!
And more to come, just around the corner, as Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is only a couple of months away from being finished and polished to a cyberpunk sheen.

I am so stoked to be back in this world again. All those familiar ambient and foley sounds that made the first game so memorable are back, transporting me right back in. And a gorgeous new soundtrack - sounds like Amos Roddy again? And - again - Gareth's storytelling is top-notch so far - I'm already sucked in. Man, this demo is so much fun. I'm going through it very slowly so it doesn't end too soon, haha. Can't wait for the rest of the game to go live!
